Important message for live in caregivers and nannies

At this point, we are not able to help caregivers who live in Philippines and India. The processing time in Manila is currently about 18 months, in India 36 months. This is too long for standard Canadian family - most of them need help immediately and are willing to wait only a few months. Please do not email us if you live in Philippines or Punjab - our resources are limited and all you would hear from us is that we cannot help you.

Word of caution

If your only qualification for the program is the 6-month caregiver course, we will NOT accept you as our client regardless of your origin. We believe that such a course cannot prepare you properly for the job despite what Canadian government says. It is a matter of our policy and attempt to protect the integrity of our services to you and the Canadian employer that we require our clients to have proven track of education or experience that indicates serious interest in this occupation. You could be a teacher or a nurse; you could have several years of experience as a nanny or caregiver - that would be absolutely fine. Please do not email us if your only qualification is the caregiver course - our resources are limited and all you would hear from us is that we cannot help you.

Male caregivers

To save you time and expectations, please be aware that it is very difficult for us to place male caregivers regardless of their nationality and qualifications. Perhaps other agencies have better results than we do but we cannot promise that you would be placed in a reasonable time. Contact us only if you are willing and ready to be very patient and wait for a few years.
